Families in receipt of Working Families Tax Credit with an income of no more than £16,190 (as assessed by HM Revenue and Customs) could now be eligible for a Free Childcare place for their 2 year old child.

2-year-funding for Early Learning

You could be eligible to receive funding for up to 15 hours of childcare a week. Devon is part of a national scheme to offer flexible, free childcare places for two-year-olds living in households with low-incomes. The 2gether scheme gives children the opportunity to make new friends and learn through play in one of our specially approved childcare settings, which include day nurseries, school nurseries, childminders and pre-schools.

Your child is eligible if your family is receiving certain benefits, has a household income under £16,190, or if your child has a disability, special educational need, is adopted or placed under a residency order. Free childcare places start the term after your child’s second birthday, so don’t miss out. Find out if you are eligible today.
